Some comments on our accommodation:
"What a wonderful place to enjoy the
beauty and magic of Byron
Bay. The accommondations at Abaabode offer an intimate
relationship with Mother Nature, all within easy access to
Byron's many treasures.
Each morning we were awakened by the sounds of birds singing and
chatting. Late evenings were often accompanied by the distant
sounds of surf from Tallows Beach, a 10 minute walk thru the
Arakwal National Park. This beautiful 7 km beach often had more
Porpoise in the waves than people on the sand. A myrid of sea
birds including Sea Eagles and Pelicans abound in the santurary.
The apartments are spotless, tastefully decorated and include
applainces and housewares which provide all the comforts of
home. Oversized plants on the Lanai insure outdoor privacy and
lend to a garden effect, a great place for morning coffee and
evening dining.
The salt water pool is beautiful and is a great place to swim
after a long leisure walk on the beach or stroll to the town
center. It's Barbeque facilities are well suited for family
gatherings or entertaining friends. The natural lagoon is
floating with lilly pads, attracting local birds.
A wonderful resturant, Hulala, is located next door and their
friendly service and tasty food make dining out easy. More
elegant dining at Byron at Byron luxury resort is a 5 minute
drive and the Golf Club is equally close.
All of this is topped off by the wonderful landlady. Faith
Harper. She is a long time resident of the area and devotes
herself to the comforts of her guests. We can't say enough about
her and her wonderful Abaabode. We will definitely return."
